John Fisken was a busy man Tuesday afternoon.

With multiple sporting events to hit in two towns, the intrepid photographer had little time to waste.

Get in, click, and get out, was his mantra.

Thankfully for us, before hitting the wild smorgasbord of events going down in Oak Harbor, he swung by the Coupeville High School tennis courts to catch the season opener.

The photos above are courtesy him.

Best way to repay him? Pop over to his site and purchase a glossy pic or two.

It’ll make grandma happy when she gets a photo of the grandchild, and it’ll make Fisken even more likely to return to Cow Town.

Plus, a percentage of each purchase comes back via college scholarships for CHS student/athletes, so, circle of life and all.

It’s as close to home as they’ll be for awhile.

The Coupeville High School volleyball squads open with four straight road matches this season, and don’t play in their home gym until Sept. 26.

But Saturday they made the trip for parents and fans a bit shorter, just rambling 10 miles down the road to Oak Harbor for a jamboree.

While there the Wolves faced off with old school rival Darrington and the host Wildcats, and photo man John Fisken snapped a gazillion (or more) pics.

After you peruse the 10-pack of snap shots above, there are still many, many more to see (and buy).

Pop over to the links below and remember, a portion of your purchase price goes to fund scholarships for CHS senior student/athletes.

High school sports are officially back, and so is John Fisken.

After spending his summer rambling across the USA, the intrepid photographer was back on The Rock Thursday and clicking away as the three Whidbey girls soccer teams opened the season with a jamboree in Oak Harbor.

There are plenty of Wildcat and Falcon pics out there if you go look, but our focus, of course, is on Coupeville and a Wolf squad which debuted new uniforms and a new head coach in Kyle Nelson.

Football is back.

The first high school game is still five days away, but the Oak Harbor Youth Football and Cheer League has kicked off.

As photographer John Fisken wandered the sidelines at Ft. Nugent Saturday, he caught two Wolves in Wildcat clothing.

Logan Downes and Jean-Pascal Edoukou were both in action for Oak Harbor’s Junior Gold squad, which was clashing with Sedro-Woolley Blue.
