“The force is strong in this one. I can teach her much.”

One sound, then the other.

Thursday night’s CHS volleyball match featured a whole lot of boom, followed closely by a lot of clicks.

The Wolf hitters were spraying spikes everywhere as they rolled to a three-set win over visiting Port Townsend, while travelin’ photo man John Fisken and his trusty camera(s) fired away in support.

The pics above are courtesy him, and show just a smidge of the excitement that went down.

As the rain falls outside, bask in some sunny soccer pics from back when the weather was nice.

You know, a day or two ago.

The pics are courtesy travelin’ photo man John Fisken, who shoots in all weather.

“Am I the only one around here still doing their job?!?!”

The brother also rises.

Coupeville High School senior Dalton Martin may be getting a large chunk of the spotlight right now, what with being a state meet-approved track star, but lil’ brother Logan is charging hard in a bid to unseat the king.

Logan and other BU12 booters were the focus Saturday as travelin’ photo man John Fisken clicked away, and the photos above capture the possible future of Wolf soccer.

“And that’s called kickin’ their butt!!”

Unleash the power.

It’s what the Coupeville High School volleyball squads did Friday night, with both the varsity and JV rolling to big wins over visiting Orcas Island.

Serves were sizzlin’, spikes were exploding and wandering camera god John Fisken was on hand to document all the happenings.

In between trying to get more Diet Coke out of me, he delivered these snappy pics unto us. For which we are grateful.

Pelroy

Kirsten Pelroy (left) gets ready to drop some track speed on her foe during a pursuit of a loose ball.

Sage

Why does Sage Renninger (17) score so many goals? So she can get hugs from Lauren Bayne, of course.

Bree Daigneault

You can be deadly or you can be stylish. Bree Daigneault chooses to be both.

Mia

“Aha, my old friend! I found you hiding up there!!” Mia Littlejohn gets her head in the game.

Jenn Spark

Jenn Spark, the Bionic Woman, unleashes the Corner Kick ‘o Doom.

The goals are coming almost as fast as the photos.

Led by the super-charged scoring foot of freshman Kalia Littlejohn, the Coupeville High School girls’ soccer squad has hammered home 19 goals in its first six games.

The Wolves have spread out the scoring, as well, with eight different players already in the books.

The scoring race, with nine regular season games still left on the schedule:

Kalia Littlejohn — 6
Mia Littlejohn — 4
Arisbeth Montiel — 2
Sage Renninger — 2
Jenn Spark — 2
Bree Daigneault — 1
Lindsey Roberts — 1
Ashley Smith –1

Along with the frequent goals, the Wolves have also been knocking a ton of photos out of the park, and the pics above are courtesy travelin’ photo man John Fisken.
