Registration for Central Whidbey Little League wraps next Friday, Mar. 10, with baseball and softball seasons kicking off Apr. 1.
CWLL action is open to players ages 5-14, with multiple teams offered for both sports.

They’re expanding.
Registration is open for the Central Whidbey Soccer Club’s spring season, with the league adding a team for older players.
The plan is to field a U17 squad in addition to the programs which already exist.
The breakdown for where athletes fall based on birth year:
U6 = 2017-2018
U8 = 2015-2016
U10 = 2013-2014
U12 = 2011-2012
U15 = 2008-2010
U17 = 2006-2007
Athletes can also play above their age group, if approved by league officials.

Sign up today to play tomorrow.
Registration is open for a new season of the Coupeville Youth Basketball Association, which is open to kids in K-5.
The season runs Jan. 9-Mar. 4, with one practice a week and games on Saturdays.
Cost is $30 per player.
The league is also looking for team sponsors, as well as volunteers to coach, ref, and run the clock.

Time to start thinking about club volleyball.
The Whidbey Volleyball Club, which will have two teams this season, has set tryouts and registration is live on its web site.

The Central Whidbey Soccer Club wraps up registration for its fall season at midnight Aug. 14.
The league offers teams ranging from U6 to U15 and is particularly in need of U12 boys (born in 2011-2012) as it tries to fill out rosters.
