It’s your time to be loud ‘n proud.

Tryouts for the 2023-2024 edition of the Coupeville High School cheer squad go down Saturday, May 6 in the school’s gym.

The event runs from 9 AM until 3 PM that day.

The Wolves are looking for both female and male athletes.

The cheers are still lingering in the Coupeville High School gym.

Basketball season is done, with Wolf athletes having moved outdoors for spring sports, but winter teams are putting a cap on things with awards banquets.

CHS cheer held its season-ending shindig Thursday, with coaches handing out awards, letters, and certificates.

Miley Gerber earned Most Spirited for the winter campaign, with Makenna Jonker-Chambers (Wolf Award), Gracie McFarlin (Most Improved), and Isabella Schooley (Coaches Award) also honored.

Cheerleaders lead the charge.

Full of school spirit, Wolf sideline warriors have been at the forefront of generating the wall of positive noise exploding out of Coupeville’s gyms at this week’s playoff games.

As the CHS boys prepare to play their biggest game of the season Saturday — 7:00 PM tip vs. Auburn Adventist Academy, winner to state, loser out — a photographic look at the cheer squad in action, courtesy John Fisken.

The gym was alive.

Cheerleaders and fans provided the background noise Tuesday, as the Coupeville High School boys’ basketball team raced to a playoff win on its home court.

They provide the soundtrack to basketball season.

Coupeville High School cheerleaders and band members play a vital role in keeping things hoppin’ in the gym, and Tuesday night the Wolf support crew took a moment to honor their seniors.

And it was a deep roster of 12th graders, including several foreign exchange students who have brought an international flavor to things this school year.
