Cheerleader car wash set for Saturday

Want to bring the sparkle and shine back into your life?

Swing by Ebey Academy this Saturday, Sept. 28 between 10:00 AM-2:00 PM, and let the Coupeville High School cheerleaders wash your ride.

The car wash fundraiser will help the Spirit of Cheer Booster Club purchase safety equipment and spirit gear, as well as provide scholarships.

Suggested donation is $15 for a full car wash, and Ebey Academy is located at 140 SE Terry Rd.

A new contender has entered the arena.

As the 2024-2025 school year kicks off, Coupeville High School yearbook photographers fan out to snap pics.

Some are grizzled vets, some are new — at least to having their pics run on Coupeville Sports.

David Somes is one of the latter ones, and the photos seen above and below, which come from a recent home football game, mark his debut of having his pics poached by the bloggers of the world.

The Coupeville High School cheer squad has led the way at two home football games this season, keeping the beat going through good times and rough times.

Bailey Thule, Coupeville High School senior and noted softball slugger, has showcased a superb eye for capturing her classmates.

With these pics from the first Wolf gridiron game of the new school year, she proves to be in mid-season form.

A mix of football and cheer pics, they’re the work of a very talented young woman.

The games are back, and so are the fans.

Coupeville High School kicked off a new year of athletics with a big home football win Friday, and John Fisken wandered by for a few moments to capture the snaps seen above and below.
