Oak Harbor High School stage star Maria Andelmi wonders, Does Your Mother KnowThe Winner Takes It All … When All is Said and Done? (Photos by JohnsPhotos.net)

Do I like ABBA?

I am a human being with working grey matter (at least a little bit…) so, of course, I do.

Plus, I also enjoy access to free photos, so keeping alive my tradition of sponging off of John Fisken for glossy pics, here’s a look at Oak Harbor High School’s ongoing production of Mamma Mia!

The school’s first musical in five years, it runs Feb. 16-18 and 23-25.

“Nothing but net!” (Photos by JohnsPhotos.net)

There’s a prize at the end of the rainbow.

Connect on a half-court shot at half time (or from a little closer for the young ones), and a Wolf fan can make off with t-shirts, candy, and the heady buzz of a standing ovation from the fans.

Under the watchful eye of Coupeville High School Athletic Director Willie Smith, shots were fired, nets were popped, and cameras were clicked, as you can see in the pics above and below.

“You shoot like a young me. Can I say I’m proud and … no, I’m not crying … the air conditioning in here is bothering my eyes, that’s all.”

“Dame Lillard’s got nothing on me!”

“Come on baby, get in the basket. I needs me some candy!”

“If you miss it, you have to run laps around the gym. So … don’t miss it.”

The gym was alive once again.

Returning from Christmas break, Coupeville basketball players, fans, officials, and cheerleaders brought the buzz into the new year Wednesday night.

As the Wolf girls picked up two wins against visiting Granite Falls, wandering camera clicker John Fisken drank some Diet Coke, and snapped some pics.

A selection from the latter can be seen above and below.
