Track practice is not for running, it’s for goofing off with the cameraman.

On his way to snap pics at the CHS boys’ soccer game Wednesday, John Fisken stopped by the track oval and convinced some of the gathered Wolves to pose for him.

The pics above capture some of the most fleet-footed young men and women in Cow Town, doing what they do best … posing for photos.

Oh yeah, they’re pretty good at running too.

But, priorities please. Photos above all else. Always.

The Coupeville High School track and field warriors trekked up to Oak Harbor Thursday to open the season, and John Fisken was there to click away.

A new era for Coupeville High School softball kicked off Monday, with a new coach (former OHHS player Deanna Rafferty) and six underclassmen in the starting lineup.

There were some nifty plays, and a few Opening Day jitters, but travelin’ photo man John Fisken was there to catch the best of the best and his pics reside above.

A day after a deluge straight out of Noah’s time, the sky was blue, the sun was out and baseballs were flyin’ through the air.
