Want to play sports or participate in activities for Coupeville High School or Middle School? Get thee to a computer. (Photo by JohnsPhotos.net)

Do a little work now, and a lot less work later.

That’s the plan, as Coupeville High School and Middle School launch a new online program for parents to register their children for athletics and activities.

The schools are partnering with Final Forms, an online forms and data management service.

All parents and students will be required to use the program starting this fall, but things are being launched now to ease the transition.

“It replaces all of our hard copies and will make communication between the athletic department, coaches, families, and students much more streamlined and instantaneous,” said CHS/CMS Athletic Director Willie Smith.

The program covers all Wolf athletic programs, as well as activities such as robotics and drama.

Final Forms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, erasing the need to enter the same information more than once.

Information can be verified online at any point, with signatures required once per year, as well as after updates.

“Thank you for your assistance in streamlining our paperwork,” Smith said.

Graduation isn’t really over until the final photos drop.

Sure, the Coupeville High School Class of 2022 has their diplomas, Mickey Clark Field has emptied, and new destinations await the Wolves.

Doesn’t mean I can’t nab some more sweet, sweet page hits with a final (maybe) pictorial essay, compliments of Wolf Mom and school board director Morgan White.

She has a need … a need for speed.

Coupeville ace Scotlyn Helm is a busy bee these days.

She’s got a new baby brother to help take care of, a school year to finish up, and a souped-up car to put through its paces.

When she’s not busy with her other 1,001 projects, Scotlyn puts the pedal through the metal at the Monroe Speedway, where she’s completing the Novice Driver Training Program with the Washington Quarter Midget Association.

Helm shows off the Purple Bomber.

Scotlyn will put in three weeks of training, learning the ins and outs of her car and life on the track, then begin racing season.

Based on family history, you should be able to spot her with ease once the flag drops — she’ll be the one way out in front.

It’s the look of love.

Coupeville High School Class of 2022 grads celebrated Saturday with family and friends, then put all the photos on Facebook where I could easily poach them.

That makes them the real MVP’s, at least in my eyes.

It’s official — they’re grads.

The Coupeville High School Class of 2022 came together for one final time Saturday, receiving diplomas and congratulations under sunny skies.

Along for the ride was Wolf Mom (and school board director) Morgan White, who offers up the pics seen above and below.
