I can write a billion words, or, if I really want page hits, I can run a lot of photos.

So, let’s turn the blog over to wanderin’ paparazzi John Fisken and his trusty camera for a few minutes, while I go count those sweet, sweet page hits.

The photos above are a mix of volleyball and soccer action from Thursday, with a few ringers from earlier games tossed in to sweeten the deal.

Ljohn

Mia and Kalia are locked in a battle for the scoring title … and their favorite water bottle.

They’re spreading out the wealth.

We’re only three games into the season and the Coupeville High School girls’ soccer squad has already gotten goals from five different players.

Junior Mia Littlejohn, who has tallied at least one score in every game, leads the way with six goals.

That means she’s already topped last year’s total of five, and is fast approaching sister Kalia’s single-season school record of 10.

With 12 regular season games left on the schedule, the goal race stands at:

Mia Littlejohn — 6
Kalia Littlejohn — 2
Bree Daigneault — 1
Avalon Renninger — 1
Lindsey Roberts — 1

While you’re pondering that, you can also enjoy the pics above, a collection of ones shot at various games by John Fisken.

“And that’s what we call kickin’ your fanny!!”

It was a busy week, on and off the court.

With back-to-back home volleyball matches, the Coupeville High School spikers had plenty of opportunities to get floor time.

That also gave wanderin’ photo man John Fisken, who was in town for Chimacum Tuesday and Sequim Wednesday, plenty of time to capture a billion or two pics.

Eight of the snappiest can be seen above.

Tis the season to snap pics.

Bouncing from court to field and back again, wanderin’ photographer John Fisken went crazy snapping pix of Coupeville’s fall sports teams in action over the past two days.

The photos above, a medley of eye-catching moments, are courtesy him and showcase girls’ soccer and boys’ tennis.

The score wasn’t so great, but the photos were better.

With Oak Harbor having played a rare Thursday game, wanderin’ photo man John Fisken was free to head down to La Conner Friday night to catch Coupeville in action.

And, while the Wolves got roughed up a bit in a 53-6 loss, they did manage to provide the paparazzi with some nice photo ops.
