Two schools, four teams, one Island, one photographer.

Wanderin’ paparazzi John Fisken stayed busy Saturday, clicking away as Coupeville High School hosted South Whidbey in a pair of girls basketball games.

The Falcons claimed the JV contest, while the Wolves rebounded to come out on top in the varsity tilt, all set to the tune of the click of the camera.

To see everything Fisken snapped, and possibly purchase some glossy mementos for Aunt Ruth and Uncle Roberto down in Boca, pop over to:

For every action, there is a reaction.

When he’s not focusing on the on-court action at basketball games, wanderin’ photographer John Fisken likes to swing his camera in the direction of those watching things unfold.

The pics above and below spring from recent Coupeville High School hoops contests against Mount Vernon Christian, and showcase a cross section of Wolf Nation.

Wolf JV basketball stars scope out the action.

“Put me in coach! I’m ready to fill the highlight reel.”

It’s not official until they say it is.

“Don’t make me come out there, cause I will break you in half if I do!”

Mckenna Somes and Lark Gustafson debate strategy.

A portion of the Xavier/Alex Murdy Fan Club prepares to get loud.

“You’re a superstar, Miss Lhamon. Accept it.”
