Coupeville High School track and field honored 26 seniors Wednesday — 13 girls and 13 boys.

Photo-wise we did pretty well, with pics of 24 of 26 being sent my way.

So, a quick shoutout to Mercedes Kalwies-Anderson and Jermiah Copeland, who are not pictured, but were also part of what is likely the biggest group of seniors to ever come through a Wolf sports program.

The Coupeville High School track and field team is doing things a little differently this year.

With 26 seniors on the roster and a hole in the schedule, Wolf coaches have scrambled to add a home meet Wednesday, April 19.

The Coupeville Classic Invitational, set to kickoff at 3:00 PM, allows CHS to have a real Senior Night ceremony, which often doesn’t happen in the world of track.

It also keeps the Wolves active, as they were looking at a two-week gap between off-Island meets.

Coupeville coaches will honor:

They provide the soundtrack to basketball season.

Coupeville High School cheerleaders and band members play a vital role in keeping things hoppin’ in the gym, and Tuesday night the Wolf support crew took a moment to honor their seniors.

And it was a deep roster of 12th graders, including several foreign exchange students who have brought an international flavor to things this school year.

Jermiah Copeland and friends were honored on Senior Night, then thunked La Conner. (Photos by JohnsPhotos.net)

First, they celebrated. Then they celebrated some more.

Coupeville High School’s boys’ basketball program honored four seniors Tuesday night before their final regular-season home game.

Then those Wolves — Alex Murdy, Jonathan Valenzuela, Jermiah Copeland, and Dominic Coffman — went out and helped their squad drill arch-rival La Conner.

The win clinched a #1 playoff seed for CHS, guaranteeing the seniors will play at least two playoff games at home.

So, a job well done.
