It’s a win for everyone involved.

Spiff up the town by having your car washed, while also helping boost Coupeville High School boys basketball.

The hoops stars will be out in force Saturday at Whidbey Island Bank (401 N. Main), scrubbing and buffing autos, with the proceeds funding summer league play for the Wolves.

The car wash runs 9 AM – 4 PM.

It’s a win-win.

You can get your car washed and help support the most successful girls basketball program on Whidbey Island in one fell swoop.

The three-time defending Olympic League champion Coupeville Wolves hoops squad will be at Whidbey Island Bank (401 N. Main) twice this month, brushes and hose in hand.

First up is a car wash this Saturday, May 13 from 10 AM – 2 PM, then they come back around Saturday, May 27 at the same locale.

The events are fundraisers to help pay for the girl’s trip to a team camp this summer.

The camp has been an invaluable experience in recent years for the Wolves, giving varsity and JV players a chance to bond and work on their skills while playing four days worth of games, with a little beach time thrown in to keep things lively.

Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses of dirty cars yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

No auto is too far gone in the battle against dirt and despair.

Your saviors? The 2018 ASB officers from Coupeville High School, who are bringing their hoses and scrub brushes into battle this Sunday, Aug. 28.

The school leaders are holding a car wash at Whidbey Island Heritage Bank (401 N. Main) to help fund this year’s CHS prom.

Cars will be washed from 10 AM – 2 PM.

Save your car before it looks like mine.

Avoid the ravages of prairie dust and Penn Cove moisture and preserve that show room gloss, all while helping out Coupeville’s loudest and proudest.

Coupeville High School cheerleaders will be camped out at Windermere Realty Saturday (right across from the Elementary school on S. Main) from 12:00-2:00 holding a fundraiser car wash.

Swing by and let them take hose and scrub brush to your ride, and you’ll be helping the team’s veterans raise funds for their graduation night festivities.

They walk the walk, talk the talk and scrub the cars.

Intent on getting home and away uniforms for next season, Coupeville High School softball players hit the pavement at Whidbey Island Bank Saturday to hold a fundraiser car wash.

Wandering paparazzi John Fisken was in the vicinity and was nice enough to swing by and snap the pics above, which capture the Wolf sluggers hard at work and hard at goofing off.
