First, they walked on by. Then they drove on by.

A day before graduation, Coupeville High School’s Class of 2022 participated in an assortment of time-honored traditions.

The Wolves, sporting their robes, strolled down to the elementary school, passing through the hallways where many of them got their start.

Then they hit the road for a car parade, before heading off to breakfast.

Along the way photo whiz kid John Fisken snapped the pics you see above and below.

She’s the best of the bunch.

The Wolf soccer and tennis ace is headed to the University of Washington to study biology after wrapping up her CHS stint.

Milnes nips Ian Sylvester (3.97) in the GPA race, with the latter notching Salutatorian honors for a group counting down the final days until graduation.

“Find something you’re passionate for.”

As one leg of their school journey reaches its conclusion, and another one stretches out ahead, Coupeville Middle School 8th graders were given words of wisdom by their teachers.

They were implored to be compassionate, to speak out, to embrace, and inspire each other.

Now the Class of 2025 heads off to summer vacation, and the promise/hope of a more conventional school year when they return in the fall.

But, before departing, they were given a chance to look back, and ahead.
