Not quite a tsunami, but much more than a trickle.

Thanks to the hard-working, and talented, paparazzi out there, I built a nice treasure trove of photos during the fall sports season.

Now, as banquet season rages, and basketball practice hits full speed, I’m working my way through the backlog.

Today’s collection, shot by Jackie Saia and John Fisken, is probably the final photo essay we’ll have featuring fall sports.

But never say never.

Spikes flew and cameras clicked.

It was a busy day at the Yakima SunDome Wednesday, as the 2B state volleyball tourney played out on multiple courts.

With Coupeville High School sparring with Lind-Ritzville-Sprague and Goldendale in a pair of tense tilts, Wolf Mom Jackie Saia was kept busy, snapping away.

Powerhouses, one and all.

Coupeville High School cheerleaders are among the best in the biz, mixing school spirit with killer work ethic and the ability to holler loud enough to fire up an entire stadium or gymnasium.

As we head towards the final home football game next Thursday, CHS Yearbook Advisor (and noted photo bug) Jackie Saia delivers a collection of snappy pics capturing the Wolves at work.
