On field or off field, the action never stops.

Friday’s Coupeville High School Homecoming football game drew a sizable pack of fans and behind-the-scenes types out to Mickey Clark Field.

The pics seen above and below, sent our way by John Fisken, capture some of what was going on away from the whistle of the refs and the thunk of shoulder pads connecting with helmets.

Does a game really mean anything if there aren’t fans in the stands?

Coupeville High School teams don’t have to really ponder that question, as Wolf fans generally show up, and show out.

The pics above, shot by CHS students, capture other CHS students supporting their classmates.

The circle of life, as it were.

Faces, faces everywhere.

Crack Coupeville High School photographers Bailey Thule and Delanie Lewis snapped plenty of on-field photos at Friday’s football game, but their crowd work was especially impressive.

Capturing their classmates on film, they document the next wave of Wolf Nation in the pics seen above and below.

Hawthorne Wolfe gives the refs some help. (Photos by JohnsPhotos.net)

Make some noise.

That’s the goal Tuesday night, as the Coupeville High School girls basketball team hosts Auburn Adventist Academy in a loser-out playoff game.

Tip-off is 5:15 PM, with the La Conner boys playing Auburn in the 7 PM slot.

The winners advance to face off with the La Conner girls and Coupeville boys, respectively, in Thursday’s District 1/2 title bouts.

To get an idea of how Wolf fans have responded to their call to duty this season, take a gander at the pics above and below.

They come to us courtesy John Fisken, and you can see more of his work by popping over to:

Hawthorne Wolfe, rockin’ the finest in prairie fashion. (Photos by JohnsPhotos.net)

Don’t come a-knockin’ if the stands are a-rockin’.

Fan support for Coupeville High School basketball teams has been strong this season, even with Covid protocols dictating masks on most faces in the gym.

In between on-court action at recent Wolf girls hoops games, wanderin’ photo whiz kid John Fisken caught a fair amount of action going down in the stands, and these pics are courtesy him.

So, put your phone down, and make some noise!

The joint’s not fully rocking until Wolf super fans Kylie Van Velkinburgh (left) and Bella Velasco are in the stands.

The Brooklyn Thayer fan club, on the verge of getting rowdy.

And then a fashion shoot broke out.

CHS Vice Principal Leonard Edlund, possibly up to shenanigans.

Skylar Parker’s rooting section is having a grand ol’ time.

Mckenna Somes (third from left) has some constructive criticism for the refs.

Did Caleb Meyer (red shorts) throw Wolfe across the gym? Maybe, maybe not.
