If Lindsey Roberts is the new Makana Stone, then Danny Conlisk is the new Lindsey Roberts.

Roberts continued her perfect start to her 8th grade track season, ripping off two more wins Wednesday at a four-team meet in Shoreline, but Conlisk went her one better.

While Roberts cruised to wins in both sprints (200) and sprinting while evading obstacles (100 hurdles), Conlisk rolled, snatching victories in the 100, 200 and 1600.

Together, the duo accounted for five of Coupeville Middle School’s eight wins.

Seventh grade hurdlers Cassidy Moody and Jean Lund-Olsen and eighth grade high jumper Chris Battaglia also came away with top of the podium performances.

Langley swept both team titles on the girls side of the competition, while King’s (8th) and Northshore Christian (7th) split the boys titles.

What in the world did Grey Rische have for breakfast?

Whatever the Coupeville High School sophomore ingested Monday, it fueled him up big time.

By the time he was done rampaging through the Olympic League JV track and field championships at North Mason High School, Rische had set three PRs — including busting his best mark in the javelin by a jaw-dropping nine feet — and captured one of four victories by Wolf athletes.

Equally impressive were freshman Jesse Hester, who ran away with titles in both the 110 and 300 hurdles and sophomore Alexxis Otto, who claimed top honors in the shot put.

Her throw went more than three feet further than her previous best.

In a field of 10 schools, Coupeville finished 6th in the boys team standings and 7th on the girls side. 2A schools North Kitsap (boys) and North Mason (girls) took the team titles.

Mitchell Losey is a man among men.

A sandwich-eatin’ beast who fears no cold cut, who backs down from no mayo-slathered challenge.

The culinary world belongs to the Coupeville High School junior track star (and his sturdy digestive tract).

We’re just nibblin’ along side him, while he’s out there dominating the game.

Well played, Mr. Losey. Well played.

Abby Parker puts every last ounce of her heart and soul into the finish of the 800, setting a PR like a boss.

Dalton

After Dalton Martin let loose with this throw, he turned green and ripped his shirt in half.

Skyler

Skyler Lawrence reaches down deep and finds her inner groove, chucking the discus to a PR.

"Dalton rest now. Dalton want lemonade. Chop chop!!"

“Dalton rest now. Dalton want lemonade. Chop chop!!”

That little something extra.

It’s what every track and field athlete is looking for, and every cameraman.

A lot of Wolf athletes pictured here found that extra something Saturday, setting PRs and hitting big throws and quick times at the Olympic League championships.

Merrily clicking away, John Fisken also found that something special, and he was nice enough to let us gaze upon his work.

It's official.

It’s official. Stone is fast.

Now we can talk about times and throws and who placed where.

Or, we can just bask in the glow of some pretty freakin’ awesome pics snapped at the Olympic League track and field championships by our resident Diet Coke-guzzlin’ lens man, John Fisken.

You’re not even reading these words, are you?

Fine, get yourself back to Eileen Stone droppin’ side eye, photo bombs goin’ off everywhere and the glory that is Jared Helmstadter’s socks.

#JaredsSocks, soon to be trending on Twitter. You read it here first!
