Tis the time of the season for reunions.

With the holidays in full swing, a lot of former Wolf sports stars are back home from college, and many of them swung by the gym recently to catch up with family and former teammates.

Letting his camera wander the whole 360-degree field, photog John Fisken captured some of the reunions, plus a mix of band members at work and fans being fans.

The smorgasbord of holiday pics seen above are courtesy him.

The annual Tom Roehl Roundball Classic, an alumni hoops tourney dedicated to the memory of a former longtime Wolf coach, played out Saturday in the CHS gym.

Those on hand were there to remember their coach, raise money for scholarships to be given out in his name, and see who still had game (and who had spent too much time on the couch).

After a year down, Red Pride rebounded to win the title, beating the Coupeville Cows 59-48 in an all-Coupeville championship.

Last year’s tourney winners, Prestige World Wide, fell in the semifinals this time around.

Photographer John Fisken wandered by the gym and delivers the photos seen above.

Coupeville’s basketball squads enjoyed a solid night Wednesday, with three of four teams beating visiting Concrete.

Saturday’s basketball doubleheader at Coupeville High School was noticeable for one thing — the joint was quiet.

The CHS/CMS band took the day off, and that allowed for some dead air, especially during the halftime break.

As we await the return of the horn blowers and drum bashers, a photographic look at some of those who make the gym rock, courtesy wanderin’ photo god John Fisken.

The future of Wolf boys basketball came out to play Monday afternoon.

Facing off with visiting Blue Heron from Port Townsend, the Coupeville Middle School hoops stars came away with a big varsity win, a nice rally in the JV contest and about two billion photos.

The pics are courtesy wanderin’ camera clicker John Fisken, who left the big city of Oak Harbor behind for a day and came down to visit Cow Town.
