We hit the finish line.

Not of the fall sports season, as there are plenty of games left to go.

But this is the final collection of portraits shot by John Fisken.

I still have seven left — four middle school volleyball players, as well as two high school soccer players and a volleyball ace — and will use those with other stories before we wrap up the season.

Otherwise, the focus will be on action shots, of which I have many, as we wind our way through Oct.

The prairie was alive with the sound of runners.

The 2021 edition of Race the Reserve, the largest fundraiser for Coupeville High School’s graduating class, went off Saturday morning.

As runners, and tons o’ volunteers, navigated things, wanderin’ photographer John Fisken snapped pics galore.

The day was grey, but the action was bright.

Playing under overcast skies Saturday, the Coupeville High School boys soccer team gave highly-ranked Providence Classical Christian plenty to deal with.

Cruising along the sidelines, camera at the ready, was John Fisken, who delivers the pics seen above and below.

The soccer pitch was ready for its closeup.

The Coupeville High School girls soccer squad battled with visiting Mount Vernon Christian Thursday, providing plenty of highlight reel moments.

Wanderin’ camera clicker John Fisken was on scene to document the events, and the photos above and below are courtesy him.

It’s pink portraits on parade.

Jumping back to earlier in the week, when the Coupeville High School volleyball teams held Dig Pink Night to aid in the fight against breast cancer, I still have some more photos to get out.

They’re shot by John Fisken, and, if you want to see more of his work, pop over to:
