Volleyball stars (l to r) Emma Smith, Maya Toomey-Stout and Ashley Menges, the first people to ever make Coupeville’s bleachers look semi-comfortable.

Sometimes John Fisken is almost too productive.

Almost. I said almost.

Whidbey’s top-ranked paparazzi gave me so many glossy pics the first time he hit a Coupeville High School basketball doubleheader last week, I wasn’t able to use all the side pics immediately.

So, here you go, a few days down the road, some more snappy pix capturing Wolf fans, the band, cheerleaders and cute babies.

Always with the cute babies, cause page views.

Probably should have started a blog called cutebabies.com and not Coupeville Sports back in 2012…

It’s their turn in the spotlight.

The Coupeville High School boys basketball C-Team had sole possession of the big gym Thursday, hosting Mount Vernon and attracting wandering paparazzi.

The action photos seen above, with a cameo from Wolf female athletic stars in the crowd, come to us courtesy John Fisken.

A good photographer always stays busy.

When the action on the basketball court ebbs and flows, John Fisken swings his camera and nabs a little bit of everything.

Band, cheer, fans, cute babies. You name it, he shoots it, and I run it.

Especially the cute babies, cause cute babies get big page hits.

The sound of a camera rapidly clicking has returned to the Coupeville High School gym.

Making his first extended trip to Cow Town during basketball season Wednesday, paparazzi John Fisken was in full-on snap mode.

The pics seen above, a mix of girls and boys action, are just the tip of the iceberg, though.

To see everything he shot, varsity and JV, and possibly buy some glossies for Grandma (it’s almost Christmas!), pop over to:

So, circle of life and all.

The pics above are the first Wolf action shots from the new season, with many more to come.
